This Month we are getting a double helping of remote working software. This week we are excited to discuss another full-on task management suite, Cisco Webex. Webex allows you to do everything you would want from collaboration software. This includes video chat, share screens, secure messaging, whiteboarding, file collaboration, and overall simplified meeting experience. Let’s look at what Webex can do.
Keeping Organized with Cisco Webex
Keeping an inbox organized is usually a tedious job as it is. Having multiple group emails and single conversation threads can exacerbate this. Now more than ever this is important with almost everyone working remotely. Luckily, Webex Teams has you covered. Teams provides your organization with secure group messaging, single person threads, as well as communication with those outside your organization all in one simple view, no switching organizations. Threads allow you to message everyone in the team and even flag messages for you to follow up on later. With easy Office 365 integration and a wide array of other applications, the ability to streamline employee workflows has never been this simple.
Online Meetings
A long-standing leader in the web conferencing market, Cisco’s Webex has everything you’d want in a collaboration suite. The simplified management portal called Control Hub allows for user management, site management, and team management all in one place with deep analytics, troubleshooting, and reporting capabilities. A simple integration with Office 365 allows for easy scheduling of meetings with room resources allowing for one button to join on video conferencing devices. They say pictures are worth a thousand words, now that everyone is on, sharing your screen is as easy as clicking a button and with the Webex boards a whiteboarding session is simple and engaging. Cisco Webex, along with the award-winning hardware, provides an unparalleled immersive experience for a mobile workforce.
Integration
The Webex Education Connector natively integrates Cisco Webex Meetings and Cisco Webex Teams into your Learning Management System. Webex has pre-built solutions for most third-party applications including learning management systems like Instructure, Blackboard Learn, Moodle, Brightspace by D2L, or Sakai. In addition, there are integrations available with most storage applications such as Google or Microsoft allowing for Webex Teams to consolidate all of your information in one place. There are many other integrations to other applications through the Webex app hub, check it out.
Cisco Webex Security
Finally, you may be wondering that sounds fine and all but is the connection secure. Inevitably you will have to have conversations with your team about information sensitive to your organization. Webex’s end-to-end data encryption is here to protect your video and message conversations. This same end-to-end encryption extends to your whiteboard drawings and files. Enhance your security by adding a PIN lock and the ability to wipe your Webex data off device in case it gets lost. Control what can be seen by others by locking spaces to teams and selecting who can add content. Webex comes with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) by using Cisco Cloudlock. Cisco Cloudlock protects your data by allowing you to block users from sharing files with those from outside your company.
